– Another One Bites the Dust – Songs 8 –

Everyone, raise your hand if you love to laugh. Is there a certain song that makes you giggle or at least grin each time you hear it? Right now I want to give you two reasons this song does that to me. First is this silly video I chose. But the main reason is because of when and where I am at the time I usually hear it.

As years have gone by I’ve added different songs to my iPod that I listen to when I run. Me to run without music is like a car driving without gas. Impossible. It’s needed to help me keep on keeping on. I found this song on my computer the day I was adding a few new songs to my iPod.

“Hay, this one would be perfect!”

Before I knew it, this song went with me on my next run.

So there I was running, acting like I knew what I was doing when this song began. I know you will be distracted by the dancing but listen to the words, seeing if you can guess what got me giggling. And it’s not so much the first few sentences, even though those are perfect being I am doing exactly what those say, but it’s something else.(ignore the add that might show before the song.)

If you can’t figure what got me giggling, here, I’ll help. When ever you hear the word ‘one’ change it to ‘block’ as you picture someone on their own two feet running down the street . . . block by block.

People must have been wondering why in the word I was grinning big time as I was running as block after block went by. Energy to keep running sure was present being those words are said over and over again. To this day I still smile whenever this song comes on, feeling like I’m accomplishing more than normal as each block I run bite’s that dust.

We all likely have a song or two where at least one word is replaced with OUR word. Can you think of yours, or is it one that has to be playing first before you automatically put that perfect word in the perfect place?  Let’s all have fun, sharing what it is.
